The GSA (Graduate School of Architecture) at the University of Johannesburg was founded in 2015 with the mandate to transform contemporary African architectural education. Located in Johannesburg, one of the world’s most exciting and challenging cities, we offer a world-class architectural educational experience to our students. We are the only dedicated African post-graduate school of architecture and the only African school to adopt the unit system. The African continent is recognised as a uniquely challenging and creative laboratory in which we explore new ways to think and work.
Through our two year combined programme students can study towards a SACAP professional qualification in architecture. The first year is the studio-based Bachelor of Architecture Honours leading to the second year studio-based Master of Architecture programme.
Applications close 30 October 2020.
